Testimonies

Jane - teacher, and intercessor

As a family member of someone who has bipolar disorder, I recommend clinging to the Word of God like a dog with a bone. The Word of God is powerful, living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword. God is our refuge + strength, a very present help in time of trouble. His promise for those who believe is power, love, and a sound mind. God is faithful, He will do what He said He would do. Believe it and receive it. Sometimes healing is progressive, but healing will come. Stand on his Word and believe it in spite of the circumstances that you may see.

John - Pastor, Bipolar and Homeless Advocate

Explain to two people, family members or friends, on a group text what you are facing. Tell them to just listen. Begin to share your life with them the ups and downs, everything. Let them know they don't even have to respond unless it's an emergency.

The act of family and friends listening to you empowers you to have spiritual and emotional support to live life.

After texting them, drink water!

Share all the highlights in your day for mutual encouragement and blessing. As you give of yourself to others you are both blessed.

This is one way to have a foundation for a life and win the fight against bipolar mood swings and homelessness.
